Start a table
Start the clock on a table, with the right price, in a few taps.
Who can do this: Administrators, Managers and Staff.
Start a game
- Open Live floor.
- On a free table, press Start.
- Type the customer’s name, or leave it empty for a walk-in.
- Choose Open Table (count up) to let the clock run until you stop it, or Planned (count down).
- Choose the price. Your usual one is marked (Default).
- If you chose Planned, pick 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours or 3 hours.
- Press Start Session.
The table now shows its Rate, for example Per game · PKR 150.00, and So far, what the table time would cost if you stopped now (food, drinks and tax are added on the bill). An hourly or per-minute game also shows the Duration played, or the Time left for a planned game.
When a planned time is up, Live floor shows an alert, and the table gets an amber border with the time over.
If a confirmed booking on the table would overlap the game, Rocket Pocket warns you before it starts.
Per-game prices
With a per-game price there’s no clock to watch. The table shows Games with − and +: press + after each finished game, and − to fix a mistake.
While the game runs
Food and drinks: press F&B on the table, pick the items, choose who served them and press Add to Table Bill.
Change tables: press Move, pick a free table and press Move Session. The time and the food and drinks move too.
Check the time: on an hourly or per-minute game, press Duration to see the time played and how it’s charged.
Pause: if an Administrator has switched on Pause and resume in Settings → Payments, press Pause on an hourly or per-minute game, then Pause in the box that opens. To resume by itself, first type the minutes in Resume automatically after (minutes). Otherwise press Resume when play starts again. The table shows Paused meanwhile. Paused time isn’t charged unless an Administrator sets a charge for it there.
If you can’t start a table
A table set to Out of order or Reserved with ⋯ → Edit can’t be started. Set it back to Free first.
A table also shows Reserved from 30 minutes before a booking, but you can still start it. For a confirmed booking, Rocket Pocket warns you first: press Start Anyway to go ahead.
If there are no prices yet, an Administrator adds one in Settings → Tables & prices.
When they finish
Stop the table and take the payment.
